Gem I feel so blessed to call you my God daughter you are so special to me and you will remain in my heart forever. I so loved our chats and oh how we used to laugh!! I was always so proud of you when ever I heard you play the piano or the church organ which you did so beautifully and you had the voice of an angel. I will never forget when you sang at our wedding, not a dry eye in the place. Gem you were beautiful and so gracious inside and out you were truly an inspiration to us all. Pete, Robbie and Jo loved you with all their hearts and as you all have always said you Mike Robbie and Jo were "cousins" I found these word the other day and I thought they were so very beautiful and summed up how I feel without you in my life We sit beside griefs still waters, not knowing the depths therein And although we fear it may overwhelm us we know we must get in. Some day's the surface ripples, we gain the confidence to begin, the slow and painful journey of healing from deep within. We think we can just bathe ourselves, or try a little swim But griefs deep water is turbulent and can quickly pull you in. We fight to reach the safety of the waters shallow shore; we lay there exhausted, knowing we must return for more. With time we learn the ryhthms which help to navigate the flow, but can never take for granted the currents that are deep below, But I would dive into the storm, though the waves may rip me apart, And brave griefs harsh Tsunami to keep you in my heart.
