Gem, I couldn't write to you over Christmas, as it just felt that is wasn't Chrismas at all - without you, and also no Mum, Granny or Mike here - I know you would have been SO pleased that Mike wasnot on his own - was just very hard without you or anyone that I could talk to about you over Christmas and share memories as you just so so loved Christmas day - still, silly to say that, as every day is hard without you - doesn't matter if it is Christmas, or just a blowy ol' Thursday - I miss you so much, your laugh, your hugs, your time - for some reason this is a particuarly bad "missing you" day - love you, always did, always have and always will.
