Dear Gemma & Family, I was lucky enough to receive the Gemma Harrison Award at Richmond Festival for the 2012-13 period & I am also one of Jenny Thornton's drama students. My mother stumbled upon this page just a few seconds ago and I only felt it was right to send all of you a message of thanks. With the award that was greatly donated by Debbie, I really have felt myself grow in confidence when it comes not only to drama, but everything on a whole! And I really can put some of that thanks in you! Even though I have never met you all, I feel truly honored to be continuing Gemma's legacy in receiving the Gemma Harrison Award. Looking through this website, I can tell that she was a wonderful person with a beautiful voice and looks beyond compare.
